⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Affordable Excellence—A Daily Brew That Doesn’t Break the Bank
Coffee lovers, rejoice—this is the hidden gem your morning routine’s been waiting for. I picked up the 32 oz bag for around $15, and that’s a steal for fresh, whole beans of this quality. You won’t find many deals like this with flavor to match.☕ Rich Flavor & Smooth Brew: Surprisingly bold and balanced, this Colombian blend brews up beautifully in a pour over. It’s smooth, with just enough brightness and character to keep each cup satisfying. It works great for drip brewing too, but it’s especially nice when you want to slow things down and savor.🛢️ Stays Fresh for Weeks: Stored properly in a sealed canister, the beans retain their aroma and punch for weeks. No stale flavor creeping in—just reliable freshness cup after cup.📦 Generous Size, Budget Price: At 32 ounces for about $15, this coffee offers serious value. That’s a lot of quality beans at a fraction of the price of premium boutique brands. For daily drinkers, it’s hard to beat. Don't browse by this product because it's Amazon bulk with a low price.📆 A Staple in My Coffee Routine: This isn’t just good for the price—it’s good, period. I keep it stocked consistently and rely on it for my everyday brew. The Amazon Fresh Colombia roast has earned its place at the front of my coffee shelf. If you’re looking for flavorful whole beans without paying premium prices, this is a top contender. Highly recommended for anyone wanting reliable quality with budget-friendly volume.

A Winner!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:After trip to Kauai, decided to go back to whole bean coffee on weekends & bought a 1.5ib. bag of 100% Kauai coffee for $40. After bag was getting to empty, wanted to buy more. Cost on line was closer to $60 after shipping. We love Columbian coffee & saw the Amazon branded whole bean Columbian coffee which was around $14 for 2lbs. After reading reviews, we decided to give it a try. Great move. It was truly a medium roast. It hit all our needs. Smooth, not bitter, non-acidic, great roast & was on par with more well known brands. Did I mention the price? As with all things food & drink, it's all very subjective. For us, it hit all the right notes. This will continue to be our go to weekend coffee.

Good coffee for the avg joe.
TLDR: this is not a light roast. Not even close. It’s a medium roast. Depending on your brewing methods, it’s a decent cup of coffee and what you what you paid for (for the beans). There is ZERO mention of a “roast by” date. Only an expiration date.Who is this for: for your average Joe coffee drinker who’s looking for a better cup than your instant foldgers instant coffee.Who it’s NOT for: if you have ANY sort of workflow in your coffee routine, this coffee is not for you. If you don’t know what the word “workflow” refers to, this doesn’t apply to you. If you use scale to dose your beans, this coffee bean isn’t for you.Taste: everyone’s pallet is going to be different. It to mention everyone’s brewing method is different. I have dialed this to the best of its ability/taste. 16g dose. Spritz with RO water. Grind with my timemore C3S max (this bean does not deserve my Z1 K ultra), preheat/pre wet my Acaba cafec v60 paper filter, hario v60 glass pour over. 60g water, 60sec bloom. thereafter 60g water every 35sec until 240g is reached. RO Water at 94c Full drain in 3:00min.I won’t talk about notes because this will make no sense to non-enthusiast. But I will say the coffee does have a decently clean taste, not harsh notes, and is relatively smooth.I bought this to try because I am an Amazon-all-things customer (I am also a Costco-all-things customer). Unfortunately, these beans just don’t meet my needs.Obviously I am not expecting a 32oz bag of whole beans for $10 (what I paid) to complete against a specialty bean that’s $25 for 12oz. However, I am docking 1 star because the discription of “light roast” is incorrect.

Best coffee
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a Breville Touch and this coffee always comes out perfect. I saw another reviewer saying that is not good on a Breville, but don’t let that stop you. I have been buying this coffee for a long time and it’s the best if you like dark roast coffee and understand that espresso makers need to be dialed in every time you get a bag of fresh beans duh! Espresso 101. The taste is rich and bold. It is always fresh and the price is on point as you get a good amount. I just came back to get another bag and it’s not available so it is a sad day.

Not a Light Roast – More of a Medium Roast
If you’re expecting a true light roast, this isn’t it. The beans have an oily surface, which usually points to a longer or hotter roast—characteristics more in line with medium to dark profiles.Flavor-wise, you get some dark chocolate and slightly burnt caramel notes. There’s little to no fruity acidity, and the aftertaste is nutty with a mild astringency. No real sweetness comes through. It’s not great for pour-over or drip, as it lacks brightness and complexity. That said, it does okay in espresso-based drinks where those deeper, roast-driven flavors can work better. The price is definitely a strong point—great value if you’re not too picky about roast level or are using it mainly for milk-based espresso drinks.

Makes a great cup of joe.
After a visit to New Orleans in 1989 I started ordering a brand of coffee known mostly to residents of Louisiana. I really loved this coffee, but as they became more widely known the price went through the roof. I switched to another lesser known brand, still very good, but the same thing happened, as their popularity rose so did their prices. Enter Amazon brand. Is it as good as the others? No, but not enough better to justify the higher prices. The Amazon dark roast is a good cup of coffee and I look forward to it every morning, I just hope they don't decide that they are a boutique brand and double their prices.
