This is just an awesome red dot. Super easy to install, love the quick disconnect. Nice big clear glass and your choice of dot or circle or both. Easy to sight. Long lasting battery with wake function if sight is moved. You will love this sight. Great price for an outstanding red dot!

Glass Optical Quality/CharacteristicsHolosun 501c: Excellent – Glass adds almost imperceptible blueish color. The coating on the glass nearly completely blocks red laser light.EoTech XPS2-0: Excellent – Glass adds almost no color.Trijicon MRO HD: Good – Has almost imperceptible magnification factor (probably around 1.05x). As noted by other reviewers, it is possible to sometimes see a reflection of the emitter/circuit board. This reflection is only visible under unusual/momentary lighting conditions. Neither the magnification nor occasional reflection bothered me.Dot Quality/CharacteristicsHolosun 501c: Excellent – nearly perfect line/dot quality. Very cool ability to switch between a single red dot and a red dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle.EoTech XPS2-0: Good – but the center dot and the segmented circle is slightly fuzzy, like it is made up of a bunch of tiny, smudged pixels. I have owned this little optic for about a year now. First on a rifle but now resides in my home defense shotgun. I have found this to be a tough well made optic that holds zero even through punishing recoil of a shotgun. I have had zero issues with the QD mount attaching to the picc rail of my firearm and once there it is rock solid. The reticle is crisp and clear even with aging eyes. The adjustments in illumination level is easy and is palpably visible. There is some blurring on the highest level, but this in no way makes the optic unusable at this level. The sighting adjustments are a little mushy, but you can feel each click. I was able to Ranger Wrap my 510c to match my A 300 and that was like icing on the cake for this tough little guy. One drawback is that it has an open emitter that could become dirty or occluded. After several range trips in dry dusty conditions, I have yet to experience a failure in function. This optic is a solid addition that you can depend on plus your wife won't kick you out after purchasing it!!

New item was priced fairly and shipped quickly. Operates as designed. No disappointments here. Great addition to a CMMG BR4.

I almost bought an EOTech, but after looking into it more, I realized some flaws I wasn't okay with. First, battery life for the EOTech was subpar. 1000 hours versus a theoretical 50k hours for the Holosun. Win number 1 for Holosun in my book.Second, was the lack of a backup. EOTech is just glass without a battery. The Holosun and its solar backup and its ability to use solar instead of battery when in full sun was clutch. So I bought the Holosun.I couldn't be more impressed. The mount was solid, and easy to use. I did buy the spacer to raise it. Without the spacer it felt slightly low. I would highly recommend buying the spacer.The glass is clear and the reticle is sharp. Was very impressed. In good light you can hardly tell you are looking through glass.I am very impressed with this optic, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a solid red dot.

The old adage, "You get what you pay for" holds true for this sight. I really tried to find a lower priced sight that would be "almost as good" as this sight. I'm not a fan of overpaying for something that's a couple of percentage points better. I believe that I will never regret paying the extra price for this sight. The construction of it is exceptional. I purchased it for my Ruger PC9 and it sits perfectly! The large screen (glass) is super easy to sight. I like the built-in solar array to support the battery (it doesn't charge the battery but the sight runs off of it instead of the battery in bright light). I also like the automatic mode where the unit changes brightness depending on the ambient light and turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Then is wakes up when it senses movement, and it doesn't take much. I have red dot sights on my handguns as well and I've always like them. This sight has a 65 MOA ring that can be selected along with (or by itself) the red dot making it extremely easy to locate even in high stress situations. You won't be disappointed that you purchased this sight. Although you might have to eat beans and wieners for a few meals to pay the extra price. Do it. You'll be glad you did in the long run.

This optic is excellent, great field of view, easy to sight in, holds zero and a great asset to my Daniel Defense AR . 5Stars!

This is the best option for the money. The thing doesn't even need a battery to work i own several and they're reliable and tough and no one else has the features they have.
