I purchased these handle holders for a casserole with short nubby handles that get very hot, but find myself using it for all sorts of pots and pans. They work very well and no more burnt fingers! More sanitary than pot holders and fit easily in kitchen drawer.

I would give this product 10 stars if I could. I have several lids that have metal handles. My oven mitts are too thick to pick up by the handle. I either burn myself or drop the lid.I also have a large pot that has a metal handle on each side. It's impossible to pick up or move the heavy pot without the same scenario as the lids.These fit perfectly for both.

I never knew these existed, but once I did and ordered them, we never had burned hands again. My husband uses them for lids and handles. They are a bit loose on most of my pots, but for the price and no more burned fingers, they are worth it.

I originally purchased these pot handle covers to help with my copper bottom dutch oven that one of the handles broke off of. I love my copper bottom pans, and refused to get rid of this one!! These holders not only make it easier and safer to handle the dutch oven with a missing handle, but also are very handy to use with hot microwaved dishes, as well as hot dishes from the oven. And, I might add, help with home canning!! They are very sturdy, and can be easily washed by hand or washed in the dishwasher. I highly recommend these, especially for other seniors, who may be experiencing loss of strength in their hands/arms. These babies help with getting a good grip, which eliminates serious accidents.

My husband doesn’t like to use pot holders. They are usually too small for his hands. So he asked me to find a solution that would just stay on the pan lids. These were the answer! They are small enough to stay on the glass lids throughout the cooking process and still remain cool and protect the fingers from the hot handle. They are easy to use, give a good grip on the lid and are a good value for the price. I am happy that we found them

These silicone products run hot and cold with me. I’ve purchased many I love and then there are those like this one I’m lukewarm about. They look great, seemed a good idea for what I wanted to use them for, but fell short of my expectations. Simply put, they don’t stay on!This may seem a small matter and compared with the rest of the world’s problems it is, but still, it’s annoying when they refuse to stay put on the handles they were supposed to be designed to protect us from. Also, note the silicone isn’t extremely thick. I can’t say they don’t protect the fingers enough, they seem to, but I’d love it if they had a little more between myself and the metal. I digress, the real problem for me is that they fall off easily from handles I’m using them on which are not thick and are on the sides of a cast iron concave cormel and we know how that metal gets very hot. I don’t trust these at all and have taken to leaving them off until I need to slip them back on to move the pan and like I said, they do seem to protect my fingers for that short period when I move the pan but I’m not willing to experiment to see how long I can hold on to it until getting burned because they are so thin so I don’t recommend anyone try this either. Perhaps they work better on a different type of pan but for cast iron, I’m not willing to give them my seal of approval.

Hassles get incredibly warm. Quite a hazard as you’re moving around the kitchen and moving hot pans around.
