My Optifade Open Country cap is structured and has a Velcro connected band for sizing in the back of the cap. The Optifade Subalpine cap is not structured and has a reinforced string cinching system for sizing. The Subalpine is more "fitted" to your head and takes a little getting used to, but it stays o n.

Husband has this set already for hunting but wanted the hat. He loves this brand this expensive hat didn't disappoint. Apparently this is his version of a luxury purse. Both put food on the table. :p
