There's no comparison between the Tatcha cotton pads and drug store cotton pads. They cost more than the drug store brands, but well worth it.

Loved how plush these cotton pads were. They worked great holding whatever serum I put into it while still being pretty gentle on my skin. My favorite part was that they are cotton and organic and eco-friendly. The shape of these are pretty big and in rectangles rather than the rounds I am used to. I find it has its benefits as you can shape it differently and you don't run out of material when rubbing it around your face.

I will say while I haven't tried very many cotton pads, I have tried what I think are probably the most universally appreciated and also absolutely terrible ones and these definitely strike me as the loveliest to use of the nicer ones.What might work against them that actually works for them, from an experience standpoint: the size. These are intended as a luxury product, and their generous size is part of what makes them enjoyable to use. Because of this, you don't need more than one for whatever current product you're using. You can also cut these in half and it wouldn't make them any less useful.You can see very little of my glycolic acid seeped to the back (I only did a couple of drops here, though). It absorbed exactly as much as I wanted it to, unwastefully.The texture is so soft and silky-feeling, for lack of a better descriptor. I also appreciate these having a storage box versus a bag.

The Tatcha's organic cotton pads are gentle on the skin and also eco-friendly, however to be blunt, I don't feel like it's any different from the drug store variants cause by the end of the day, a cotton pad is just a cotton pad. There is a difference in the shape in which these are rectangle instead of circle and a little bit thicker.These pads are ready to use straight out of the box and they feel soft against the skin. The organic cotton material feels good and doesn't irritate my skin at all.Since these are cotton pads, they are very versatile. Whether I'm applying toner, removing makeup, or applying skincare products, these pads do the job effortlessly. They're absorbent enough to hold onto my toner without soaking it all up and wasting product, yet they're still gentle enough to use around the delicate eye area.Overall, Tatcha's organic cotton pads work well and gets the job done. They're effective, gentle, and environmentally conscious.
