I returned two other boards, one from a store the other from Amazon, before paying a bit more to get this one with high marks in the reviews. It is well worth it. I sew a lot and iron our clothes so I use an ironing board heavily. This one is sturdy, stable and easier to open and close than any others I’ve used. The extras all are very useful especially the cord holder, which I haven’t had before. No more wrestling with the cord while ironing. I love that it’s wider, more space for ironing quilt blocks.

Shopping for a new ironing board took me a long time because I got so wrapped up in all the negative reviews for every ironing board I read about.My last ironing board was one that you just get a Target or somewhere, and it was fine for a few years but seem to get more rickety year after year until finally I barely bumped it and my iron crushed to the floor and broke. It was a really good iron so that annoyed me and I decided to get a new ironing board right away.After hours of research, literally hours, I finally decided on this one though I was worried because of people's videos and reviews. I do not know if they may have gotten a lemon and I got a really good one, but I am happy with mine.The ironing board I got came very well packed-- though the box was damaged the board was not. When I took it out I found that it is pretty sturdy.This is not like a coffee table, and you're not supposed to set your TV up on it but it should stay upright and stable while you are moving in iron around on your clothing, and it definitely does that.If you are ironing bigger items regularly like curtains or you piece quilts or something, you may want to get a different ironing board that is longer. This is a bit shorter than my old one, but for my use it's fine. I mostly iron shirts.Also I like that it has the spot for my iron to sit. My iron fits fine, honestly I'm not really sure how it's supposed to sit in there but when I set mine in, it seems secure and if I bump the ironing board and it rocks, which I would have to bump it pretty hard for it to do, I don't think my iron would fall out like what happened with my old ironing board that did not have a special iron resting spot.There is a thing to hold your cord up out of the way which honestly I only use the first day and haven't used again. There is a little rack you're supposed to be able to hang your clothes. I haven't really used that either because I have a large rack in my laundry room to do that. Last there's kind of a shelf underneath the ironing board. If my setup was different, I think it would be handy but I don't really need it... so I havent used that either. If you're looking for extra sturdiness it may help to put something a little heavier on that shelf. -- But my board doesn't rock at all. Since I have a laundry room I just leave the laundry board set up all the time unless it's in the way. So I have not used the door hanger either.The ironing board is super simple to fold up if you need to. I think even if you put this away after each use, you would not get annoyed to have to take it out and set it up. It's really easy. Also to adjust the height you just lift the top up or press the release and press the top down, so that is easy as well.Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I don't think I really have any complaints. There are some features that I mentioned that I don't really need but it's okay that they are there. I'm very satisfied.

If I am going to spend $120 on an ironing board, the least I expect is to receive a product in pristine condition. What I got is a box that had been pieced back together, and the item inside was scuffed up with chips of paint missing, a bent front leg which made it rock back and forth, and a missing wall hanger.I took away stars, not because of any of the product features, which I love, but because of the fact that I received something that looks like it had been previously returned.I like the width of the board, since I am usually ironing fabric to make baby blankets and quilts. I also like the multiple height settings and the large iron stand at the back which is big enough to hold my heat press. I was especially looking for a board that didn’t have sticks for legs so that it would be more sturdy, so I was unpleasantly surprised that one of the legs in front was bent so that the board leaned and rocked.I am returning this item for a replacement, and hope the new one is in better shape or I will be looking elsewhere.Update: I received my replacement board, and it is all I hoped for the first time around. No bends, missing parts or damaged paint. It is super sturdy and level. Love the size, love that it can easily be stowed when not in use. Very happy.

Being a quilter, I was looking for a wider and sturdy ironing board. I was shocked to see that a "quilters" ironing board (rectangular) was over $300. Absolutely not. After reading reviews, decided to give this one a try. It fits the bill! Seems very sturdy. The legs are nice and sturdy, and no wobbles. The extra width on top is really nice. The iron holder is super handy. I really like the fold out, meant to hang clothes, but I use for fabric. Shelf on bottom another nice feature. Personally, the cord keeper thing doesn't do much for me, but might others. It did take longer to arrive than promised. Would buy again.

As an adult you rarely get excited about an ironing board, but this is different. I ordered the large one as I have many dress shirts to iron. It comes well package, but not over packaged which is good. Early to use and looks great. The wall hanger is very handy and puts this board up without getting in the way. A must have for those that have to iron a lot.

This is the best ironing board you can buy. Cuts your ironing time in half because of its width you can spend less time ironing. This ironing board does not wiggle and shake - stays firmly in place. Best Buy - you will never need another one.

Its working as expected but lot of vibrations when we do iron. We have placed it right across the wall. I think price is not justified with the quality

Lightweight & easy to use, love the extra features such as the shirt/dress hanger, the rack underneath etc. It even comes with straps to hold your iron in place when it's not needed! Comes in a cool grey which matches our kitchen!
