Works exactly as advertised. I was worried it might be hard to turn since the plastic handle is so small. But it is effortless to turn. The core comes out easily as well. It does leave a bit of ‘meat’ between the ring and the peel, but a paring knife can slice it out if the waste bothers you. Very happy with this purchase! Pro tip: use this over a plate as the cutting process will get your cutting board very juicy….

This is so quick and easy to use, and cleans up easily. It makes nice "slices". The only drawback I've noticed is that the fruit doesn't last as long as when I cut the pineapple manually with a knife. If you'll use it in two or three days, it won't be a problem, but I live alone, and it sometimes takes me longer than that to eat an entire pineapple, so some of it goes bad before I can finish. I do use it, though, and I would certainly recommend it for a fruit-loving family!

I do a lot of freeze drying and this saves me so much time and mess. Literally takes a couple of minutes to Peel, core, and slice a whole pineapple. I was afraid there would be a lot of waste but it doesn't waste anything! So happy with this and would recommend this product to everyone! Blade is very sharp so be careful!

Wasn’t expecting much from this tool but was so sick of cutting pineapples every night and the amount of waste from using a knife I thought I’d give it a go after seeing all the positive reviews. This is absolutely fantastic and does exactly what it says it does. Quick and easy to use with minimum waste and takes the core of the pineapple out at the same time. There’s a video to follow when you scan the box which shows how to prepare a pineapple in 30 seconds. Could not recommend this enough. Absolute game changer if you eat pineapple

We bought this as we were buying pineapples more in the hot weather and this tool makes the preparation much easier compared to cutting it with a knife.I think you get slightly more fruit when you use a knife but this is much quicker and easier with more consistent results.The mess is unavoidable when cutting a pineapple but this little tool definitely makes less mess, mainly because the shell of the pineapple is mostly intact after extracting the centre.It’s worth noting that you would need a really symmetrical pineapple to be able to use it as a jug after removing the spiral of fruit as the pictures show. I almost always end up with the cutting edge popping out of the side which obviously would hinder using it as a jug.Overall really pleased with this and it is easy to clean.

Really wanted this to make it easier to get into pineapples as I love them but so messy and awkward cutting into them. This looked ideal for me and I specifically chose this over the cheaper versions as thought it would be much better. How wrong was I. Can only push it slightly into the pineapple giving me one pineapple ring only. Have to use a knife thereafter to cut into the fruit and fiddly trying to remove the core inside. Tbh wouldn't give it any stars if I could.

This handy little tool has cut down that amount of time my sister has spent preparing fresh pineapple by at least 80%. It makes that job much easier, cleaner and more consistent in terms of the size and shape of the pineapple chunks produced. Love it!!! We use what's left to make pineapple tea - zero waste! I love this thing so much. I found cutting pineapple extremely annoying, but not anymore. This tool makes the whole pineapple game way easier. You can get all the yummy stuff out at one go and as a bonus you have stylish cup made of pineapple skin to serve your smoothie in :)
