Good heft
The weight of this helps it cut through even hard frozen ice cream. It’s a little big for the Ben and jerrys tubs, but still more than usable.

Not for lefthanders!
I just didn't think when I purchased this! I looked at sturdiness and quality and the reviews are convincing. But I completely forgot that it's very much a righthander! I struggle to use it righthanded (I'm a one-hundred-percent leftie) and find the only way to use it is to pull back the release mechanism BEFORE scooping. Ah well....

Does the job
Very good quality, works well and easy to clean. It also makes scooping batter into muffin trays alot easier than using regular spoons. I'm happy with this purchase

Cookie Dough
I’ve used this for cookie dough, works really well. If you’re left handed, this might be a slight struggle. Otherwise, works really well. Easy to use - I have carpal tunnel so really need to watch my hand position on stuff like this but it has a very nice grip and I find it quite ergonomic.
